There are literally thousands of different martinis you can make. Gin is the alcohol of choice when making a ‘regular’ martini and Vodka is used often in its place or as a flavoured martini.
Here is a small list of some of the best martini recipes that any bartender can make.
CHOCOLATE MARTINI (or Chocolatini)
- Step 1
- Fill your shaker ¾ full of ice
- Step 2
- Chill Glass
- Step 3
- Pour 1 oz of Vodka and 1 oz of White Cacao into the shaker tin
- Step 4
- Shake!
- Step 5
- Strain Drink into glass
- Step 6
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or a cherry
- Enjoy!
Note: Chocolate Martini recipe’s can have many variations. For example try replacing the vodka with Raspberry Vodka or Chambord. Mix a Chocolate Vanilla Martini by adding Vanilla Vodka. Butterscotch or Banana Liquor makes for a very tasty drink and so does adding some milk and/or Kahalua/Frangelico. Be adventurous and creative!
GHOSTINI
- Step 1
- Fill your shaker ¾ full of ice
- Step 2
- Chill Glass
- Step 3

- Step 4
- Add 2 oz of bar lime (sweet & sour) mix
- Step 5
- Shake!
- Step 6
- Strain Drink into glass
- Step 7
- Garnish with lime
- Enjoy!
VANILLA SKY
- Step 1
- Fill your shaker ¾ full of ice
- Step 2
- Chill Glass
- Step 3
- Pour 1 oz of Vanilla Vodka and 1 oz of Hpnotiq into the shaker tin
- Step 4
- Add 2 oz of pineapple juice
- Step 5
- Shake!
- Step 6
- Strain Drink into glass
- Step 7
- Garnish with lemon or cherry
- Enjoy!
APPLETINI
- Step 1
- Fill your shaker ¾ full of ice
- Step 2
- Chill Glass
- Step 3
- Pour 1 oz of Vodka or Apple Vodka and 1 oz of Apple Sourz into the shaker tin
- Step 4
- Add 2 oz apple juice and a splash of bar lime (sweet & sour) mix
- Step 5
- Shake!
- Step 6
- Strain Drink into glass
- Step 7
- Garnish with lime
