A List of Awesome Drink Recipes

One thing that annoys the hell out of me when I’m searching for new and innovative free drink recipes are these lists of thousands upon thousands of absolutely useless bar drink recipes (I’ve seen one site bragging of having over 20,000 drink recipes).

99% of those 20 plus thousand drink recipes will never be ordered off the average bartender.  You can find the 1% of cocktails that are popular around the world on our FREE BARTENDER CHEAT SHEET.

To be a good bartender, you need to know a couple dozen drink recipes – the most commonly requested drinks in most parts of the world.

You DO NOT need to go through the big bartender’s black book, trying to remember how to make all the cocktails.

In addition to needing to know the base two dozen or so, you’ll also need to familiarize yourself with local specialties. In every part of every country in every city or town, you’ll find some type of unique drink concoction or specific shooter recipe that is local. Get to know which shooters and cocktails are popular around your area.

The term ‘mixed drinks’ can literally mean any drink requiring two or more ingredients including alcohol, soda, juice, flavorings etc. For the purposes of this site, we’ll just list all the “well” drink recipes (Rum & coke, Rye & ginger etc) here and all the other mixed drink recipes are broken down further below.

Tequila Drink Recipes
Ooohhhh tequila. I personally don’t ever touch the stuff anymore (I have one of those wake-up-in-a-pool-of-your-own-vomit tequila stories) but that doesn’t change the fact that tequila is one of the most popular shots in a bar and its also found its way into cocktails. Here’s a list of the best tequila drink recipes.
